Bathroom renovation · Niche lighting

Warm lighting for a new bathroom

This customer wanted some warm niche lighting as part of their new bathroom renovation. The aim was to bring a soft glow to the recessed shelves, making them a feature of the room as well as a practical place for everyday essentials.

The warm light highlights the tiled niches and adds a gentle contrast to the bathroom’s neutral finishes. These photographs show the lighting in the shower niche and the wider bathroom, where the illuminated recess adds another welcoming detail.

Bathroom renovation · Electric underfloor heating

Comfort underfoot in a renovated bathroom

This customer wanted electric underfloor heating as part of their bathroom renovation, adding the comfort of a warm floor to their new space.

The photograph shows the installation before the floor finish was laid, with the heating cable arranged across the floor area. Planning the heating at this stage allows it to be incorporated beneath the finished surface, keeping the bathroom’s appearance clean and uncluttered.

A thoughtful addition to a renovation, designed to make the bathroom more comfortable to use.

Living room · Media wall lighting

Feature lighting and an electric fireplace

This customer wanted lighting and an electric fireplace incorporated into their media wall, creating a welcoming focal point for the living room.

The illuminated display niches on either side of the television add a soft glow and highlight the decorative details. Below the television, the electric fireplace brings a warm flame effect to the finished wall.

Together, the feature lighting and fireplace create a relaxed atmosphere for evenings at home, while complementing the media wall’s clean, built-in appearance.

Living room · LED feature lighting

Quirky LED lighting with a little personality

This customer chose an unusual LED lighting installation to bring character to their living room. The sculptural, spiral-shaped pendants create a striking feature, with lights suspended at different heights to give the arrangement depth and interest.

When illuminated, the open shapes catch the light and add a warm glow to the room. It is a lovely example of how decorative lighting can become part of the room’s design as well as providing everyday illumination.

Bringing the garden to life after dark

Garden lighting can make a feature of the planting long after the sun has gone down. For this installation, discreet spotlights were positioned within the raised bed to highlight the plants and cast a warm glow across the timber fencing.

The daytime photograph shows how the fitting sits among the planting, while the evening view reveals the finished effect. The lighting adds depth and atmosphere to the garden, creating a welcoming backdrop to the patio.
